Business Startup and Financing Options Seminar |
The Mercedes Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with SBA [U.S. Small Business Administration], Accion-Texas, and SCORE to bring entrepreneurs and local business owners a 3 part Seminar Series. The first of this 3 part series is "Business Start-Up and Financing Options with presentations by Veronica Padilla, SBA; Marlene Rodriguez, Accion-Texas; Phillip Rathbun, SCORE. This seminar will be held on Thursday February 2, 2012 from 9am-11am at the Chamber of Commerce [417 S. Ohio, Mercedes]. Seats are limited so reserve your spot today, and the best part of this new initiative is that it is FREE to the public.

2012 Miss Mercedes & Little Miss Mercedes Pageant |
Miss Mercedes & Little Miss Mercede 2012 is scheduled for Saturday, February 11th at the Frances Cooper Event Center 1000 N. Texas in Mercedes starting at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm, charge is adults $5. students K-12th grade $3 and Program book $5 each. |

Mercedes Chamber Annual Banquet |
The Mercedes Chamber Annual Banquet is set for Tuesday, February 21st at the Frances Cooper Event Center 1000 N. Texas starts with social hour at 6:30pm and dinner and Awards Presentation follows.Tickets are $15 eachand may be purchased from Chamber directors or Chamber Office call 565-2221 for information.
